GAMER is seeking facilitators to lead engaging, recovery-focused gaming programs that support individuals with psychosocial disability in achieving their personal goals. We're looking for a Mental Health and Interpersonal Skills Facilitator; we're looking for someone like you.At GAMER you would receive mentoring and hands-on training with our senior facilitator who will assist you to combine your gaming skills with a strong understanding of mental health and psychology, to deliver Applied Gaming programs. GAMER provides participants with a structured, fun, and engaging platform to discover, explore, and build interpersonal and coping skills that assist them in achieving personal goalsKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Mental Health and Interpersonal Skills Facilitator, you will but not limited to : Facilitate engaging, goal-oriented gaming sessions using recovery-based and person-centred active support models.Support participants of various backgrounds and identities to build independence, social connections, and interpersonal skills through structured gameplay.Identify and address barriers to participation, using gaming strategies to support individual goals and NDIS-funded outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, and contribute to client planning and compliance requirements.Be willing to give different things a go and participate in games you might not have experience with.About You!We are looking for passionate and empowering people.
