Job description

Shifts –24 / 7 Rotating roster of 4 days on, 2 days off.

Morning 7am – 3 : 00pm, Afternoon

3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm, Night 10 : 50pm – 7 : 20am.Status –

Permanent role - 0.94 FTE Location –

Hillmorton Hospital, Annex Road South, Middleton, Christchurch.Salary –

provides specialist care for people who, as a result of a mental illness, have

seriously offended or are assessed as high risk for serious offending.

Mental Health Assistants are instrumental in providing care

to patients and supporting the clinical team.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you

will assist nursing staff with patient cares whilst maintaining a safe and

clean work environment on the ward.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with

a caring and compassionate nature will see you excel in this area.
