About the role
Our community loves to swim, and we proudly work with preschool- and school-aged children during weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekend mornings. This is an active and rewarding role where you will contribute to our community through helping children develop essential life skills.
The role is on a permanent part-time basis, 28.25 hours per week. Extra hours may be available to cover leave or additional classes.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be committed to completing all training required, be comfortable working with preschool and school-aged children, committed to working positively within a team and value the importance of swim safety.

If you are short-listed, we will contact you to arrange a trial lesson. Candidates who successfully complete the trial will be invited to a formal interview.
We value the safety of our young people and kaimahi, and therefore appointments for this role are subject to a satisfactory safety check including a Police vetting and passing a drug and alcohol test prior to receiving an employment offer.
