Intelligence Specialist

Overview

Join our leading Customer Protection team. Shape Kiwibank’s fraud prevention strategy through intelligence, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Based in Auckland or Wellington with hybrid work arrangements.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with core Customer Protection team members, Police and other legal entities and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in public private partnership forums and provide
• Identify latent fraud and financial crime risk through analysis of fraud, scams, and emerging external fraud risk,
• Provide intelligence support for complex investigations.
• Participate in internal senior stakeholder meetings as required, advising on active fraud threats, emerging risks, and provide recommendations for potential risk mitigation activity.
• Obtain key information from victims and threat actors alike when required
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends or recurring issues and sharing insights with the team.
• Promote and role model Kiwibank’s values, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and customer-focused culture where care and performance truly matter.
