This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and strong client relationships through effective debtor management and financial oversight.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of daily credit control functions, manage escalations, and contribute to business reporting and decision-making.Key Responsibilities : Manage the full credit control process, from new account applications to final debt recovery, including escalation to third-party agencies when required.Handle daily banking, receipting, and account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.Maintain proactive debtor management, liaising with stakeholders to resolve progress claims, invoice discrepancies, and overdue accounts.Provide regular updates and insights through the preparation of monthly reports and direct reporting to the CFO.Support effective cash flow management through the timely processing of incoming receipts and sound financial judgment.Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' credit control experience, with a proven ability to manage high-volume, end-to-end ledgers and complex billing scenarios.Proficient in financial or ERP systems, with the agility to learn new platforms.Take full ownership of the credit control function while collaborating effectively with the wider finance team.Demonstrated success in achieving collection targets, reducing aged debt, and positively impacting cash flow performance.Strong communication and organisational skills, with a customer-focused mindset and growth-oriented approach.BenefitsConvenient Mt Wellington location with free onsite parking.Competitive Salary + KiwiSaver.Be part of a supportive, close-knit team with a positive and inclusive culture.Genuine opportunities for career growth, skill development, and internal progression.Work for a stable, well-established company with a strong industry reputation.Apply now and take the next step in your credit control career with ARA Hardware - where opportunity, stability, and great people come together.
