Job scope
We’re looking for a Financial Controller to lead our Finance function, partnering closely with our Chief Operating Officer to guide decision making. This key appointment is responsible for managing Oyster’s finance and accounting operations, including managing the financial reporting and analysis of the diverse range of property funds / schemes managed by Oyster, regular internal / external reporting, cash flow management, treasury, company payroll and the leadership and development of the Finance Team. We require a strong leader who is committed to the ongoing upskilling of the team, fostering a continuous improvement focus and ensuring the team provides quality, timely outputs to stakeholders across the business.
Eligibility criteria
It is essential to be CA qualified with 5-10 years’ experience heading up Finance Teams, you will be well-versed dealing with numerous work streams effectively and managing and motivating your team to consistently deliver quality outcomes on time, even in busy times. Having worked for either a listed company or a financial institution, you’re no stranger to the reporting requirements and governance that come with the territory. You’re a commercial thinker and may also have property industry experience.
