Overview

Financial Control Lead

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster growth and development.

Establish positive partnering relationships internally and cross-functionally across a portfolio of entities with an international lens.

Support the Finance Operations Manager and wider Finance function to identify and implement long-term strategic objectives.

Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis and implement strong controls within a new ERP system.

Provide advice to the business on complex accounting matters and support senior management with insights for strategic decision making.

Collaborate with the Finance Operations Manager to identify and implement processes, policies, and systems in alignment with local legislation and best practice.

About you

CA qualified and bringing a solid foundation in financial accounting / auditing, likely from a professional services or large multi-national background, you're keen to progress your career in a business offering opportunity to prove your value, continue learning and contribute to a renewed focus on operational excellence, through accountability, consistency, efficiency and effectiveness.

You are a dynamic and curious individual, keen to understand the 'why', confident to explore ideas which amplify value – through process, information, communication - all of these!

An advocate for positive change, you are ready to inspire and guide others, comfortable to establish a leadership relationship with remotely located team members.

Strong analytically, you understand the importance of data integrity, also confident to bring relevance and meaning to the numbers, sharing key messages and insights with subsidiary boards and senior finance managers.
