Restaurant Manager - Two Hat Winery RestaurantWe're a family-owned biodynamic winery in North Canterbury, 45 minutes north of Christchurch.

We have a 2 hat restaurant & cellar door open for lunch only, 5 days a week.We're looking for a Restaurant Manager to co-manage our restaurant and small team.

This role is for 4 or 5 days a week (your choice).

We love using the best organic produce we can find locally and serving it with our certified organic and biodynamic wines.The ideal candidate is someone who : Loves wine and food and wishes to learn more about regenerative farming and wine.Is looking for work / life balance co-managing a day time restaurant.Is a natural leader.Is a good communicator who can share knowledge with our guests and staff about our wines and food and farming philosophy.Has initiative and wishes to go the extra mile to serve great hospitality and experiences.Enjoys problem solving and looking for new systems and solutions.Is happy to work very occasionally evening functions.Likes to have fun.Wishes to grow and learn.Is available and committed to co-manage the restaurant during the busy New Zealand summer.The Benefits : Great views.Day time hours.A petrol allowance for those driving from Christchurch.In depth training about fine wine and food with our owners and local suppliers.A fun and interesting place to work in a family owned business, with great customers.Wages or salary offered depending on preference.Opportunities to enjoy collaborations and events with other food and wine leaders in NZ and from overseas.Please apply to Pen Naish at email : (removed) with your CV and a cover letter letting us know why you would like to work with us.
