Bakery Manager

New World Kaiapoi is known for producing top quality goods in our Bakery and we are looking for a qualified Bakery Manger to join + lead our bakery crew!

As a Bakery Manager, you will need to show that you have the following skills and attributes.

• Experience in the food service / retail industry
• Ensure sales, wages and GP targets for the department are met or exceeded
• Computer literate, SAP experience preferred but not essential
• Maintain food safety compliance in the department
• Previous experience in managing / supervising teams
• Be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kgs on a regular basis
• Team player, prepared to roll the sleeves up with the team!
• You will be a team player who is known for their enthusiastic and positive contribution to the organisation you are part of. Key personal attributes will include your ability to effectively communicate at all levels and be reliable & punctual.

In this role, you’ll gain experience similar to running your own business and will be responsible for planning and coordinating all facets of the day-to-day operations of the department and ensuring staff are well trained to provide first class products and service.

This position will require you to work one weekend shift with the exact days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant at the final stage.
