Senior Sous Chef | $33 - $34 per hour
Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, this suburban restaurant has a solid local trade, all year round. We are looking for a solid Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and deliver a quality dining experience to the customers. Here we seek an experienced Sous Chef or Head Chef looking to take a step back. They have support from other venues within the group, including collaboration on menu design, suppliers and staff to cover sickness. Job available late September.
Catering Chef - $31 per hour
3 month Summer contract in busy catering company. You will be required to follow direction from the Head Chef and manage your section. Everything is made from scratch onsite, so following proven recipes and working as part of a tight team, with speed and precision. You will be preparing food for an array of clients, including functions, events and bespoke in-house dinners. Hours of work start at 5am and this contract will run from October until late December, with possibility of work in January.
Sandwich Maker | $26 - $28 per hour
With a busy function season just around the corner, we are looking for a Sandwich Maker to join the teat up until Christmas. You will be charged with making an array of sandwiches and also assist making high-quality savoury and sweet bakery products. Think Quiches, Pinwheel Scones, Frittatas and sweet slices. While qualifications are not essential, past experience working in a production kitchen / catering kitchen is mandatory. Shifts start at 5am and you will be finished by mid afternoon - Monday to Friday. October - December contract.
4 Summer Chef de Parties | $29 - $31 per hour
We have 4 Chef de Partie roles available for the busy summer season. These jobs start in November and run until April 2026. You will be joining stablished kitchens that are about to hit peak season. Here you will be working in a busy Ala Carte restaurant, holding down a section and contributing to the success of the kitchen. Working Holiday visas are OK for these jobs. You will need to be qualified, with a minimum 3 years kitchen experience and have full uniform / working rights until April 2026.
