What you’ll do

We are looking for a highly motivated salesperson to join the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Sales Team for South East Asia (SEA). This role is based at the Singapore office.

Leveraging our existing SCM organization, your mission is to engage directly with customers, partners, and industry field sales to present and sell the value of our end‑to‑end SCM solution portfolio. You will be supported by an extensive network of experts across the organization, regional and global teams of business development experts, and presales professionals.

You are responsible for meeting and / or exceeding the company’s annual revenue and booking quota for your assigned territory. You will identify, develop, and retain new business relationships while maintaining existing ones. You will develop and qualify sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging third‑party partners and customer relationships. You will manage sales accounts and customer satisfaction for opportunities within your territory.

Revenue growth will come primarily from selling SAP SCM software solutions to new customers, renewals, and upselling / cross‑selling additional solutions and services.

Your business plan will include a territory and strategic business plan, developing sales strategies that connect prospects’ business and value drivers to SAP solutions.

  • Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow‑up, networking, and partner relationships.
  • Manage the sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close.
  • Perform quarterly and annual territory and strategic business plans for your accounts and territory.
  • Work with pre‑sales teams for technical or product support as needed; effectively demonstrate SAP SCM solutions to qualified prospects.
  • Maintain high knowledge of SAP SCM products and services.
  • Understand the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings, and other business issues relevant to the position.
  • Use effective time and territory management to maximize results.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, information systems, supply chain management, logistics management, or similar.
  • Strong sales attitude, self‑motivated, and capable of independently driving your own territory.
  • Good understanding of fundamental supply chain and logistics processes. Confident dealing with senior executives and decision makers at all company levels.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with the extended SCM and account teams.
  • Strong networking skills with customers and their buying centers. Excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level. Excellent organization, business strategy planning, and program management skills. Fluency in English.
  • Collaboration with the Extended Value‑Added Team (VAT) to achieve desired customer results.
