About the role

This is a full-time, permanent position and can be based in our Palmerston North HQ or Auckland office .

As we expand globally, we’re searching for an experienced and forward-thinking Hardware Product Manager to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about building scalable, real-world hardware products, enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment, we would love to meet you.

You’ll be a pivotal member of our hardware team, overseeing the full lifecycle of our IoT devices, from concept to market and beyond. The ideal candidate is an experienced Hardware Engineer with a strong background in technology or manufacturing who’s ready to step into a product management role, working closely across multiple teams including the Head of Engineering and CEO to shape Levno’s next generation of hardware products.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our hardware products from concept and prototyping to launch and ongoing improvement.
• Lead go-to-market strategy for new devices, collaborating with marketing, sales and operations teams.
• Drive build / buy / partner decisions, including OEM sourcing, supplier management and negotiations.
• Collaborate across teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies to align product, engineering, and business outcomes.
• Be hands-on, perform full installs, understand device issues intimately and advocate for the farmer’s experience.
• Manage production, ensuring quality, scalability and cost-effectiveness throughout manufacturing.
• Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with software teams to deliver seamless IoT integrations.
