OverviewJob Title : Information Assurance II (Vulnerability Assessment Analyst – ACAS Security Manager)Employer : Sumaria Systems, LLCLocation : Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, ALSalary : Expected salary range is $75,000 to $80,000Security Clearance : SecretPosition Type : Full TimeResponsibilitiesOperate, manage, and defend the Air Force portion of the DoDIN; maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, servers, workstations, printers, SANs, and test labs to support both classified and unclassified networks.Measure effectiveness of defense in depth architecture against known vulnerabilities; use available tools to identify, analyze, prioritize, and mitigate vulnerabilities to reduce risk.Perform, review, and validate vulnerability scans; analyze results, identify false positives, and create / monitor POA&Ms and MFRs; contribute to monthly and quarterly reports.Collect and review data from tools (IDS alerts, firewall logs, network traffic logs, host logs) to analyze events for possible attacks within computing, network, or enclave environments.Validate and analyze response activities related to cyber incidents; maintain incident tracking, plan and coordinate recovery activities, and document artifacts and analyses related to incidents.Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.Create reports to communicate problems and proposed solutions to government customers.Manage hardware inventory and access control to ensure only authorized devices are connected; identify and prevent unauthorized devices from access.Manage software inventory and authorization to ensure only approved software can execute; detect and prevent unauthorized software.Submit tickets to appropriate teams for corrective actions.Perform other cybersecurity-related tasks as assigned.QualificationsEducation : High School Diploma or GEDCertification Requirements : DoDD
