Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to oversee kitchen operations, design menus, and ensure high-quality food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and experience managing a professional kitchen. You will be responsible for maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, and execute creative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences
- Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards (HACCP or local health codes)
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance and consistency
- Coordinate with restaurant management and front-of-house staff for smooth service
- Adapt menus based on seasonal availability or customer feedback
- Handle special dietary requests or allergy concerns as needed
