About the Role
As a Health Promotor, you will be responsible for providing planning, implementation support and advice to enable a strong Smokefree focus in community settings. The position has a particular focus on :
The position is a fixed term full time role which will also manage a small caseload as part of Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau stop smoking service and will be responsible for providing evidence-based smoking cessation support and addressing holistic wellbeing needs (integrating with wraparound support services) for clients in the community that are referred to the Smokefree Service.

About you
You are experienced in population health, health education, or a similar, with a passion for smoking cessation and holistic wellbeing. You have experience of working with groups and / or individuals in an education / advisory role in a health care setting. You are an excellent communicator who can build relationships with ease.
