What you'll do
- Drafting and negotiating complex contracts for major construction and infrastructure projects across sectors including commercial property, transport, energy, mining, water management, oil and gas, telecommunications, and public‑private partnerships.
- Advising clients such as developers, public entities, infrastructure providers or funders, consultants, and contractors on all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion.
- Managing both front‑end (transactional) matters (contract preparation and risk allocation) and back‑end (disputes) work (claims management and dispute resolution processes).
- Collaborating with colleagues at all levels to deliver seamless client service and contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
- Contributing to business development initiatives by assisting with client presentations or thought leadership pieces related to construction law trends.
What you bring
A minimum of 3–7 years’ PQE gained at a reputable law firm or organisation with exposure to high‑quality construction or infrastructure matters.Proven ability in drafting contracts for construction or infrastructure projects or strong experience handling dispute resolution within these sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to convey complex legal concepts clearly to clients from varied backgrounds.Demonstrated interest in construction law; candidates with quality commercial contract or litigation experience who wish to specialise in construction are encouraged to apply.Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and empathetic support for junior colleagues’ development.What sets this company apart
