What you'll do

Advise clients on a wide range of insurance disputes, providing clear guidance and empathetic support throughout each stage of the process.

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations, ensuring their interests are protected with diligence and care.

Draft comprehensive legal documents including pleadings, submissions, opinions, and correspondence tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice areas to develop effective strategies for complex cases involving multiple stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by communicating regularly, understanding their needs, and delivering practical solutions.

What you bring

Hold 3–6 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation with exposure to insurance matters considered highly advantageous for this role.

Possess a current New Zealand legal practising certificate or eligibility to practise law within New Zealand

Demonstrate excellent analytical skills enabling you to interpret complex information accurately and provide well-reasoned advice.
