The RoleThe ideal candidate will be experienced in driving project planning, design management and implementation of predominantly residential construction projects.
The role will report to the Director of Property & Development, this is an all-round project management role and includes refurbishment projects and other light industrial / commercial projects.The Project Manager will be responsible for the projects from start to finish, ensuring all projects are completed to a high quality, on time and within budget, whilst working collaboratively across all levels of the business.You will be responsible for selection, engagement, coordination, and management of external design consultants and construction contractors.
As well as, liaising with local and regional authorities along with the management of planning consultants to obtain all necessary consents.
The successful candidate will have proven project experience demonstrating innovation in high-end residential design and execution of developments, including adopting value engineering and energy efficiency principles.Success ProfileMinimum of five years' project management experience within constructionDegree in relevant field or trade qualificationHigh level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skillsAbility to work to tight deadlines and able to multitask and manage prioritiesExcellent numeracy and IT skillsFull clean NZ Driver's LicenceStrong leadership and communication skills, coupled with a 'can do' attitudeResilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approachEffective team player with the ability to motivate, develop and encourage othersMy MillbrookWe believe our people are our greatest assets, and love rewarding our hard-working team members.
