There is a high degree of visible accountability and responsibility for project outcomes that comes with this role, while not being directly accountable for projects and programmes of work; comfort and a proven background working in a matrix management context is critical.Regional travel between healthcare sites across the Northern Region is expected, and a current driver's licence is essential.What You'll BringWe are seeking a seasoned and strategic project professional who can operate with influence and integrity in a complex public sector environment.You Will Bring10 to 15 years of experience as a project manager on complex projects, ideally healthcare construction projects, with substantial capacity in managing large project management teams.7 to 10 years direct line management experience across a variety of project disciplines and levels.A 4-year undergraduate degree in a construction-related discipline (ideally Construction Management), with post-graduate qualifications in construction, project management, or business preferred.A proven track record (8-10 years) in using project management tools such as PRINCE2 and PMI CAP, and in developing and improving project management tools, templates, and systems.Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing project management resources, and in multi-sourcing talent from various sectors.Inclusive leadership skills, effectively inspiring and engaging teams to drive outcomes.
