About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Director of Specialist MH&A and Programme Director Budget 25 MH&A by coordinating project timelines, tracking project milestones and pieces, and providing administrative support to the Specialist MH&A team to ensure the smooth progression of key pieces of work across the Specialist MH&A directorate and timely communication. The role will have a primary focus on supporting the B25 MH&A Team but will be required to support the directorate more widely as well (including providing some executive administration support to the Director and Programme Director when needed).
The MH&A Budget 25 team in the Specialist MH&A directorate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting the implementation of several high-priority projects under the wider B25 MH&A initiatives. The Specialist MH&A Directorate is a national function that operationally supports the Hospital and Specialist MH&A system and leads national pieces of work required to deliver on Health NZ's MH&A strategic, policy, and Government objectives.
About you
You’re an experienced administrator or coordinator who thrives on providing high-quality support in dynamic environments. You have strong experience monitoring and maintaining oversight of project progress, ensuring key reviews and milestones are met. With a solid understanding of project and process disciplines, you bring structure and consistency to everything you do.
You’re well organised, detail-focused, and known for your excellent planning skills. Your ability to develop trust and credibility with peers makes you a valued team member who helps keep projects, and people, on track.
