Learning Support Coordinator

OverviewAorere College is looking to appoint a learning support coordinator.

This is a full-time, permanent position that has a (.5) learning support coordinator role and a (.5) learning support teacher role.

This position will commence at the beginning of the 2026 academic school year.

Applicants with a New Zealand teaching registration and experience in diagnostic testing an advantage.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the school's learning support coordination as a half-time role and support teaching as a half-time role.Demonstrate culturally responsive practice and participate in the extracurricular life of the school.Qualifications and ExperienceNew Zealand teaching registration (required).

Experience in diagnostic testing (advantage).

Terms and SalaryThe terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement.

The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086 depending on qualifications and experience.
