The position demands someone who can work effectively across the full spectrum of university life – from fundamental research to applied innovation, from undergraduate education to doctoral training, from collegial decision-making to decisive action when required.

You will bring senior leadership experience from a major research university or comparable institution, a genuine commitment to Te Tiriti partnership, and the ability to work authentically with diverse communities nationally, across the region and globally.

You will be comfortable representing the University to government, iwi, industry, alumni, and the public, while earning and sustaining the trust and confidence of academic and professional staff through genuine consultation and respect for the University's collegial traditions.
