YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As an Account Manager at VML, you are the linchpin of project implementation, championing the seamless execution of all initiatives across the agency. You will ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner, meticulously aligned with our clients’ brand and business objectives, by expertly connecting all areas of expertise within VML. In this dynamic role, you will handle the day‑to‑day operations of agency projects, from initial research and scope development to flawless execution. You will implement work from end to end, fostering strong, purposeful relationships with clients, the client engagement team, and the broader agency, all while contributing to a culture that values diversity of thinking and mutual respect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day implementation of project deliverables, ensuring they are meticulously prepared for client presentation and approval.
- Work in conjunction with agency resourcing to ensure projects are scheduled efficiently and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure conference reports and / or meeting notes are accurately completed and distributed to clients and all relevant stakeholders.
- Initiate and draft scope documents, collaborating with the team to secure client approval.
- Assist in managing briefs and debriefs in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director.
- Initiate projects within the agency, diligently following established agency processes and systems.
- Collaborate effectively with other agency partners to ensure project goals and deadlines are consistently met.
- Develop financial management skills, including the preparation of billing and monthly projections in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director.
- Actively participate in key client meetings and VML presentations, representing the agency with professionalism.
- Proactively seek and sustain in‑depth knowledge of the client’s business, industry, and competitive landscape.
