Jins Food Two Limited (Gogigopang Korean Restaurant) is seeking a full-time restaurant manager to join our dedicated team. We specialise in authentic Korean cuisine and take pride in offering a wide variety of traditional and modern dishes. Minimum Guaranteed Hours : At least 30 hours weekly – up to 48 hours
Location : Northshore, Auckland
Your day-to-day work will involve :
- Collaborating with chefs to develop menus
- Managing and conduction special events
- Overseeing the purchase and cost control of goods within budget limits
- Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and financial transactions
- Ensuring the dining area meets health standards and is clean, well-maintained, and presentable
- Engaging with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food and service
- Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen and service staff
- Handling reservations, welcome guests, and help with order taking
Applicants for this role should have :
A diploma in a management-related field, or at least two years of relevant work experience, or bachelor degree in any discipline is required.Excellent communication and organisation skillsStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamExcellent customer service orientation and the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of discerning dinersProficient in financial management, including budget planning, cost control, and inventory managementThe highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygieneA can do and professional attitudeThis is a fantastic opportunity for a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment. Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate, between $30.00 – $32.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
