Job description

Client Consultation & Concept Design

  • Meet clients to understand lifestyle needs, budget, style preferences, and functional requirements
  • Prepare design briefs, concept drawings, and visual presentations
  • Provide expert advice on layout, materials, finishes, appliances, and accessories

Design & Technical Documentation

  • Create kitchen plans, elevation drawings, 3D renders, and working drawings
  • Conduct space planning, ergonomic analysis, and compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Prepare material and product specifications

    • Project Coordination

  • Liaise with suppliers, cabinet makers, builders, architects, and installers
  • Coordinate delivery timelines and site requirements
  • Provide technical guidance during installation and construction processes

    • Estimation & Sales Support

  • Prepare quotes and pricing packages based on design scope
  • Produce bill of materials and specifications for manufacturing
  • Support customers through product selections in-store or at site

    • Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure designs comply with NZ building standards and kitchen ergonomics requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, sustainability options, and product innovations

    • Employment type : Permanent Full Time

    Minimum hours per week : 30

    Maximum hours per week : 40

    Pay frequent  - Fortnightly

    Job requirement :

    Please have at least two years relevant work experience, or

    Relevant diploma (NZQF Level 4) or above

    Have understanding of industry

    May travel between sites on contract
