Indian Cook

Siya Kitchen Ltd is looking for two Indian cooks : Tandoori / Curry cooking

for Te Aro, Wellington region.

Only New Zealand citizens, residents, or on an OPEN work visa are eligible to apply if they have

two years' work experience in Indian cuisine.

Pay rate : $26-$30 / hour and overtime at $26-$30 / hour

Work hours : 30-31 hours / week

Timing : 12 pm- 2 pm and 5 pm - 9 pm as flexibly required, including weekends.Wages will be paid in their nominated bank account.

Duties :

• examining foodstuffs to ensure quality;
• regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;
• preparing and cooking food;
• seasoning food during cooking;
• portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes;
• storing food in temperature-controlled facilities;
• preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;
• may plan menus and estimate food requirements;

may train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
