FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – UP TO $125K PER YEAR + BONUSIG Burton & Co., Inc is seeking an experienced diesel technician to join our Blue Bird Bus Operation on the Western Shore of Maryland as a field service technician.
If you have experience working on school or transit buses, are Cummins trained / certified, and are looking for a career with growth opportunities – we want to hear from you.Job Brief : The goal is to support the IG Burton Blue Bird Bus operation by providing exemplary service and technical support to our bus customers, enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing customer retention for sales and service, and boosting profitability.Position Reports to : General ManagerPrimary Area of Responsibility : Western Shore of MarylandResponsibilities : Provide service and customer support via phone or in person as required.Diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.Manage on-site warranty repairs or facilitate sending buses to IG Burton or authorized service centers for repairs.Ensure all warranty claims are properly documented and submitted to the warranty administrator.Work with the warranty administrator to ensure claims are paid.Produce timely and detailed service reports as needed.Follow all company procedures and protocols.Assist customers with parts orders as necessary.Collaborate with the IG Burton service, parts, and sales teams, sharing information across the organization.Visit customers and build positive relationships, encouraging the use of IG Burton's service department.Understand customer needs and make suitable recommendations.Assist other Field Service Technicians with their customers as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.Benefits : Comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, prescription drugs, dental, life, and 401(k) retirement plan.Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVisionShort Term and Long Term DisabilityLife InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysAbout Our Dealership : Since 1908, IG Burton & Co., Inc has provided employment opportunities to thousands in Delmarva.
