Our Gracelands village in Hastings is looking for a full-time Chef to join their talented kitchen team.The role : We are seeking a skilled Chef to express their creativity and passion for cooking, delivering top-class customer service and supporting foodservice operations under senior management direction.Responsibilities : Expressing your creativity and passion for cookingDelivering top-class customer service to a high standard and qualitySupporting the provisions of foodservice operations under the direction of senior managementConstantly learning and developing your skills / knowledgeWorking hours that will allow you to maintain a healthy work-life balanceRequirements : A passion for cooking and serving meals that not only look great but taste amazingA completed culinary apprenticeship, or equivalent experienceExcellent customer and people relationship skillsSafe food hygiene handling certificates (Safe Food NZQA 167, 168, 20666, or 27955)A positive 'can-do attitude', always ready to go the extra mileA team-first attitudeStrong time management and leadership skills - you're someone who takes ownership and accountabilityRespect for resident confidentialityThe ability to work rostered shiftsAll applicants must have full working rights in New ZealandAbout Oceania : We are reimagining the retirement and aged care living experience in New Zealand.
