We're looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Procurement Capability and Systems team within New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) at MBIE.
This role is pivotal in leading the development and implementation of a system-wide roadmap for e-Procurement.
You'll work across agencies and suppliers to shape the future state of procurement systems, ensuring alignment with national strategies and functional leadership.
You'll also support business case development, guide technical integration, and champion digitalisation across government.
We are looking for an experienced product manager to pick up existing procurement digital tools such as GETS, Conflict of Interest Tool, Procurement.govt.nz and Hikina learning management system for the next 12 months.
You will be working alongside our existing Senior Product Manager who is focused on delivering the upcoming Procure Connect platform, and our existing Principal, Senior, and Business Systems Analysts.

The ideal candidate will have :
3+ years in product lifecycle management with proven delivery success
Experience leading business change and introducing new technologies
Strong understanding of procurement and e-Procurement tools
Ability to work across complex, multi-agency programmes
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Confidence representing MBIE and influencing at senior levels
A relevant tertiary qualification and legal right to work in NZ
