Hse Advisor, 150 Mw Solar Project – Te Aroha, New Zealand

Elecnor is looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our dynamic team for the New Zealand project in Te Aroha, Waikato Region.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Elecnor is listed on the Continuous Market and has a team of highly qualified professionals and a workforce of 21,000 employees.THE ROLEImplement our HSE management system and best practicesConduct audits and inspections to identify hazardsAssess risks, and apply necessary control measuresProvide guidance on HSE requirements, policies, and proceduresWork with internal teams to design and deliver training programsInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near missesImplementing corrective and preventive actionsCoordinate and participate in emergency response drillsExercises, ensuring employees are well-prepared for emergenciesMonitor and report on HSE performance, compiling dataPreparing reports, and identifying areas for improvementTrack HSE regulations, trends, and best practicesRepresent the organization in HSE audits, inspections, and meetingsFoster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting HSE initiativesABOUT YOUMinimum Cert IV in WHS / OHS orRelevant field such as occupational health and safety, environmental managementMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar HSE AdvisorA deep understanding of local health, safety, and environmental legislationProven experience in implementing, and monitoring safety management systemsLocal driver license.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAt Elecnor, we are committed to building an environment where equal employment opportunities are central to everything we do.
