Are you passionate about creating safe, inclusive and supportive work environments? Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is looking for a dedicated Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to champion wellbeing and ensure safe practices across our organisation.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining strong health and safety systems, coordinating emergency preparedness, supporting property risk management and contributing to a positive, culturally inclusive workplace. You'll work closely with staff across multiple sites, helping embed proactive health and wellbeing practices, train staff and support ongoing compliance with New Zealand H&S legislation. This is a permanent, fulltime role based in Tamaki Makaurau and reports to the Heath, Safety & Wellbeing Lead who is based in Otautahi.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance health and safety systems; coordinate emergency preparedness; support property risk management; contribute to a positive, culturally inclusive workplace; work with staff across multiple sites; embed proactive health and wellbeing practices; provide training and support ongoing compliance with New Zealand H&S legislation.
