Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

Overview

Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor – Auckland, New Zealand. The role provides support in environment and sustainability to ensure work meets best practice standards and budget constraints, delivering value-for-money for customers. You will support the NZ Construction team across the project life-cycle, from tendering and early contractor involvement through on-site delivery and project close-out.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental planning advice and on-site operational support
• Prepare environmental management plans and programmes and assist in their implementation (including inspections and audits)
• Deliver environmental and sustainability training programmes
• Deliver sustainability rating programmes
• Support incident response and investigations (including near miss reporting)
• Communicate good practice and lessons learned across the business
