Overview
Auckland Council’s Community Wellbeing Specialist Advisors work with diverse communities to understand their aspirations and support them in bringing their ideas to life. We focus on community-led development and building community capability, aligned with the Auckland Plan and Thriving Communities action plan. Our Specialist Advisors build strong relationships within the communities they are working with, can act as trusted partners and be accountable to deliver great results.
We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity in the North and West portfolio, based in either North or West Auckland with requirements to travel around the communities you will be working with. This dynamic role offers diverse and exciting opportunities to make a difference to Auckland communities. This is a part time, 30 hour per week role.

Joining the Community Programme Delivery team (North and West) would enable you to utilise your considerable experience in community development to create and deliver innovative projects with our diverse Auckland Communities.

You have a full NZ driver’s licence or can travel independently. You can also self-manage a working week to include attending occasional community events outside of traditional working hours.
