We’re looking for a Technology Capability Lead to help shape the future of tech capability at Kiwibank. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Digital & Technology (D&T) workforce is equipped to tackle both current and future challenges. You’ll drive the development of a forward-looking strategy, integrating capability frameworks and aligning learning programmes to market trends and technological advancements.

Collaboration is key, with proactive partnering across teams such as the People team, D&T Strategy, Transformation Office, and D&T Hubs. You’ll also champion mentorship, coaching, and the cultivation of emerging talent, creating opportunities for growth and innovation within the workforce.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for :

• 5+ years’ experience in capability development, learning & development, or workforce strategy (ideally in a technology environment)
• Familiarity with capability frameworks like SFIA or DDaT
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging technology skills
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing mentoring, coaching, or internal mobility programmes
• Proven ability to measure and report on learning outcomes
