Job descriptionPrepare and cook authentic dishes, ensuring consistency and high standards. Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment. Inspect ingredient quality and measure components for menu items. Maintain food inventory and place orders as needed. Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation. Present dishes attractively before serving. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and adhere to hygiene regulations. Assist in menu planning, cost estimation, and staff training.
Golden Spring Chinese Restaurant based in Napier is in need of two full-time Chinese cuisine cooks. We require proactive and adaptable cooks with broad skill set who love to work in a busy kitchen.
