About the role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated New Zealand Registered Dietitian to provide effective, evidence-based dietetic services to our clients and their whanau.
This is a varied opportunity across both inpatient and outpatient services – working within the South Island Eating Disorder Service and adult patients within the Specialist Mental Health Service.
This is a fixed term, part-time 0.9FTE position covering parental leave until November 2026.
For the right candidates, there may be a possibility to split the role.

About You
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Assessing and diagnosing nutrition-related conditions
Promoting health practices and providing education to tangata whaiora, whanau and carers.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in a mental health setting and / or working with eating disorders is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently and reliably.
