The successful candidate will have :
Relevant Bachelor degree minimum.
May hold or be studying for a higher degree.
Aptitude for effective teaching at tertiary level.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
Evidence of an ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds and at all levels of the institution.
A commitment to upholding the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and promoting equal opportunity.
Excellent computer skills.
Well organized, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
Able to maintain a professional approach with both staff and students while under pressure.

This is a part time (0.4 to 0.7 FTE), permanent position, located in Otepoti, Dunedin.
It is an academic-year-only appointment, running from mid-February to mid-November.
The successful candidate will be appointed to an appropriate step on the Teaching and Professional Practice Fellow salary scale $75,727 to $87,849 (pro rata), depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
