St Teresa’s is a small Catholic school with a big heart, educating learners from Y1–8 in the Wairarapa. We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun classroom teacher to join our team from term 1, 2026 . This is a special character position and applicants must be practising Catholics who are willing and able to actively support and uphold the special Catholic character of our kura.

The successful applicant will bring :

• Strong classroom practice that engages and challenges all learners.
• An enthusiastic and collaborative approach , with the ability to bring energy and joy to learning.
• Relational strengths – building positive, respectful partnerships with students, staff, and whānau.
• Confidence in literacy and mathematics teaching , and the ability to integrate inquiry and creativity across the curriculum.
• A reflective mindset and willingness to grow professionally as we embrace curriculum changes.
• Commitment to weaving te ao Māori and tikanga Māori into classroom life.
