Intermediate / Senior Corporate / Commercial Solicitor - Wellington

Simpson Grierson, one of New Zealand's leading law firms, is on the hunt for an experienced corporate / commercial lawyer to join us in our Wellington office.Our busy, dynamic corporate / commercial national practice group operates across our 3 offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented corporate lawyer to join a supportive, solid, and integrated team working on high-profile, market-leading work.

Our team handles significant M&A projects, often involving international investors, together with capital raisings, JVs, public takeovers, and private equity transactions.

In addition, members of the team have the opportunity to work on matters across the corporate / commercial national practice group, which includes projects in the infrastructure, transport, and energy sectors (including large-scale renewable energy developments) and commercial contracting for a range of public and private sector clients.

This role offers fantastic quality work and the opportunity to develop an enviable practice and profile.We are looking for motivated, diligent lawyers with broad corporate / commercial skills.

You'll have anywhere from 4+ years' relevant experience, ideally in M&A / transactional commercial work, with a willingness to turn your hand to the varied work in our practice.
