Accounts Clerk – Permanent Full-Time Role
- Mix of accounts receivable, back up accounts payable and administration tasks.
- Role commencing on 7 January 2026
- 40 hours per week
- Salary : Up to $75,000 per annum + medical insurance
- Masterton location with on-site car parking available
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join their finance team. This role is focused primarily on Accounts Receivable across their global operations including New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. Your focus is to ensure timely collections are made along with maintaining financial accuracy. You’ll also provide backup support for Accounts Payable when needed. What the role involves :
Accounts Receivable
Manage global AR processes including reminders, follow-ups, and reconciliationsMaintain accurate customer records and process account applicationsPrepare monthly AR reports and customer statementsAccounts Payable
Process domestic and international supplier invoicesPrepare payment batches and employee reimbursementsReconcile vendor statements and credit card transactionsMaintain vendor relationships and manage credit applicationsAdministration
Support month-end / year-end processesMaintain filing systemsContribute to process improvements and general admin dutiesWhat we are looking for :
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable with the ability to assist with Accounts Payable tasksStrong communication skills – confident on the phone and in writingExperience using Business Central or similar accounting systemsDetail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvementComfortable working in a values-based, multicultural team environmentWhat’s in it for you?
