Downer has recently entered an exciting phase as we embark on the new contract with Powerco as their Tier 1 Contractor in the Taranaki region.

Under the leadership of our newly appointed Northwest Area Manager, we want the best Line Mechanics to join our close-knit team based in New Plymouth.

We are looking for experienced and qualified Line mechanics who can ideally work on faults (1 in 4) from the get-go.

Essential

Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licence

NZQF Level 4 qualification

Current Class 1 driver's licence (car)

Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work

Desirable

Class 2 licence

2 Years Post Qualification experience
