The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to support the Leadership and Clinical Teams in Community Adult Mental Health in a busy portfolio across Kahui o te Ihi (Mental Health & Addictions Directorate).
You will have the drive and energy to make this exciting and varied role look seamless.
You'll be expected to play an active part in leadership meetings and ideally have some experience dealing with governance.
Responsibilities
Effective Diary management – coordinate and monitor leadership team members' diaries to ensure effective and efficient use of time.
Administration Support – provide general administration support, create and format documents, assist with PowerPoint presentations, and demonstrate excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Outlook and Excel, strong level of verbal and written communication, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Planning and Organisation – coordinate multiple tasks, establish a plan of action and achieve priority goals within required timeframes.
Co-ordinating travel and accommodation arrangements.
Processing, verifying and reconciling invoices in a timely manner.
About you
Previous experience working as a Leadership Administrative role to a Senior Manager / Executive Team Member.
Effectively manages Outlook Calendar and emails and demonstrates proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to biculturalism and achieving equitable outcomes for Maori and Pasifika.
High level of personal and professional integrity and can be relied on to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
Ability to be flexible and proactive.
