Bookings Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Bookings Coordinator to join our clinical operations team and support us to deliver a seamless experience for patients undergoing surgery at Allevia Hospitals.

Based at Allevia Hospital in Epsom, this is a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) position, with 8-hour shifts rostered between the hours of 6 : 30am – 4 : 30pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

liaise with surgeons and their secretaries to manage surgical operating lists

facilitate patient bookings according to surgeon lists & theatre availability

identify, communicate and assist with patient's special requirements & needs

obtain and collate relevant patient information required for their surgery

About you

previous experience in clinical bookings in a surgical hospital environment

experience with electronic medical records, ideally TrakCare

excellent computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in a professional but friendly manner

keen attention to detail, high level of accuracy and great organisational skills
