Manager, Accounts Payable (2-Year Contract)
The Manager, Accounts Payable (AP) oversees AP and Purchase Order (PO) operations within Group Shared Services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. Leading a team of executives, the role is responsible for timely invoice and payment processing, month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting. The Manager will also drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and play a pivotal role in the SAP S / 4HANA migration to strengthen operational excellence across Certis’ finance function.
What You’ll Do :
Lead AP & PO Operations – Manage a team to oversee AP and PO functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, claims, refunds, and reconciliations.
Month-End Closing – Ensure smooth completion of AP sub-ledger closing, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting, in line with Group Finance requirements.
Compliance & Controls – Maintain AP records, processes, and procedures in accordance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including GST and Withholding Tax.
Monitor & Report KPIs – Track and report AP performance metrics (e.g., DPO, on-time payments, GR / IR aging, PO adoption) to management.
Drive Improvements & SAP S / 4 Transition – Streamline processes, lead automation initiatives, and support the migration to SAP S / 4HANA through UAT, testing, and change management.
What You’ll Bring :
Education – Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
Experience – At least 5 years in Accounts Payable, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of GST, Withholding Tax, and AP best practices; exposure to statutory compliance.
Systems Proficiency – Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with SAP (ECC6 or S / 4HANA) is an advantage.
