The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whanau.

We're building leadership and management capacity across our teams to deliver both change and business-as-usual effectively.

We work closely with providers, stakeholders, and communities to ensure services are fair, consistent, transparent and sustainable.

With a strong focus on performance monitoring, data, and insights, we're committed to continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.

About the role | Mo te tunga :

We're growing a quality improvement team that's passionate about lifting outcomes across disability support services in Aotearoa and we need a Senior Project Coordinator who brings energy, precision, and a "let's make it happen" attitude.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure and knows how to keep complex workflows humming.

You'll be the co-ordination hub for a number of projects and forums, ensuring our team stays focused, informed, and ahead of the curve.

This is a permanent, Wellington based opportunity.

Key responsibilities include :

Provide high-level coordination and workflow support across quality improvement initiatives

Manage logistics, scheduling, and documentation for sector forums and working groups

Support project tracking, reporting, and team communications

Take clear, professional minutes and help shape written outputs that reflect our work

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and sector impact

Proven experience in project coordination or team support roles supporting senior leaders and delivering under pressure.

A proactive, can-do attitude with strong organisational skills

Excellent writing ability that is clear, concise, and professional

Confidence managing multiple priorities and working with diverse stakeholders

A positive energy that lifts the team and keeps things moving

Experience using Microsoft Excel and project management tools.

Proven experience in relationship management, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary | Utu-a-tau : $69,519.00 - $84,041.00
