It's about the institutions working more closely together, sharing expertise and resources to better meet the changing needs and expectations of New Zealanders.We are looking for a senior project / programme coordinator in our Te Ara Tahi Programme Office which provides support across the programme.
This role is primarily focussed on the work to support delivery of the heritage campus which joins the existing Library with the new archival facility next door.
Kaimahi and collections are beginning to move in during July 2025.
The senior coordinator will work with multiple streams and practices across the programme.You will be experienced in a project coordinator or similar position, and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.
Every day will be different, and with a range of tasks including, but not limited to; document and information management, report collation, budget / invoice management, organising workshops and meetings, minute taking, proactive support to project managers / leaders, and any other coordination support across the programme as required.Our programme actively embraces working in Tikanga / Te Ao Maori context, it is important that you demonstrate a high level of willingness to work in this context.
We are looking for a team player, someone who will lend their hand to whatever needs to be done.
You will be a self-starter with initiative, have superb attention to detail, be highly organised, have strong communication, administration and coordination ability, and possess great relationship management skills.
