Join Te Tari Whakatau as an Analyst to support Treaty settlements and strengthen the Maori Crown relationship through meaningful policy and negotiation work.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing :
Participate in negotiations that lead to durable Treaty settlements
Develop policy advice that informs decision-making at the highest levels
Prepare briefings for the Minister, Cabinet, and Select Committees
Represent Te Tari Whakatau in external hui and inter-agency engagements
Work collaboratively in small teams contributing to the restoration and evolution of the Maori Crown relationship
Engage directly with iwi Maori and the Crown, navigating complex issues and building trust
Undertake various tasks with a positive attitude, including less glamorous duties

Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal in hui

Compensation & Benefits
Salary for Analyst Level 1 : $66,066 to $84,567 based on skills and experience
Salary for Analyst Level 2 : $84,562 to $108,862 based on skills and experience
