The Management Assurance team is an experienced, supportive group and the team are always willing to assist and coach other team members.BNZ is focused on delivering great kiritaki (customer) outcomes and supporting staff to 'own it' and do the right thing.

This is a fast-paced role with lots of challenges and the opportunity to drive change / improvements across business units and the broader BNZ network.We are looking for someone with ideally 4 to 6 years of experience with practical exposure to the full range of the operational risk toolkit, including managing the risk framework, compliance, analysis and reporting and a passion for improving risk management in the financial services sector.Alongside your broad knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks, principles and methodologies, you'll be a creative thinker with proven success in resolving problems.

You'll have the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of BNZ audiences, including experience in facilitation and up-skilling stakeholders across the business.This role provides the opportunity for an experienced risk management professional to get exposure to the end-to-end product lifecycle of the BNZ products, be an important enabler in change transformation and get across different systems / operating processes / functional teams.In additional to daily operational risk support activities, there will be great opportunities to work on key strategic change projects in the business covering end-to-end product lifecycle of the BNZ products, with goals to improve compliance by design and customer experience.
