Tēnei tūranga - About the Role :

As our Property and Contracts Manager, you’ll lead the development of MBIE’s strategic property and procurement plans across a diverse, multi-site portfolio. This high-impact role is responsible for property and procurement strategy, contract management, investment planning, and operational relationships with suppliers and landlords- ensuring alignment with government frameworks and MBIE’s long-term goals.

You’ll work closely with the Government Property Office, Facilities and Workplace teams, Partnerships and Engagement and other internal stakeholders to shape the future of MBIE’s property portfolio. From condition assessments and asset lifecycle planning to data-driven decision-making and supplier performance, this role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
