We celebrate a ‘One Team Culture’, where bringing together diversity of thought and expression is key to building the best team to deliver excellent results.With our Property team growing, we are seeking a hands on Senior Property Consultant to join our team in Wellington. As a Property Consultant, you will be an expert in liaising with a range of stakeholders. Technical work will initially focus on site acquisition and property advisory across New Zealand in the Renewable Energy and Telecommunication sectors, but you will also be providing property expertise across the wide ranging SLR client base.It is essential that you be able to work independently and have experience working in rural environments, with the ability to travel within NZ.
- Responsibilities
- As a member of the Property team, you will manage and support delivery of a range of projects. You will be responsible for the following :
- Delivery of Property projects and managing programs of work
- Working closely with our clients to help them assist their project and program delivery
- Work beside the rest of the Property team, partnering with Planners, Ecologists, Landscape Architects and others across New Zealand; in the Wellington office our disciplines include Planning, Environmental Services, Acoustics & Vibration, Ecology & Marine Science, and Hydrology & Hydrogeology.
- Delivering the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on quality
- Undertake site work including visiting sites that can be in remote areas
- Prepare fee proposals
- Prepare high quality reports
- Skills and experience
- You will also possess the following skills :
- An understanding of the Property market, be solutions focused, and able to recognise the importance of industry relationships
- General property experience, be it valuation, project management, legal advisory or general property advisory
- Site acquisition experience, preferably in the Telecommunications or Renewable Energy Sector
- LINZ accreditation while not essential would be highly regarded
- A wide range of practical experience, with the ability to think independently to achieve the best outcomes for our clients
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life
